Steve Mezak is author of Software without Borders and CEO of Accelerance, Inc., a global software development firm with over 20 software development partners in a dozen countries. As a technical entrepreneur and veteran of six Silicon Valley startups, Steve mastered global software development in a variety of management and technical roles, including CTO and CEO with more than 25 years of software development experience. Steve attended UC Berkeley, the City University in London, and holds a BS Degree in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He continues to serve as an adviser to WPI’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department.

David Black is Director of Technology at Seon a company in Vancouver, British Colombia. David has been in the software game for over 30 years (since before computers!?) Over those years, he has spent most of his career doing consulting work at big Telcos and has led projects everywhere from cellular telephone systems to tank control and communication systems, embedded software and business systems. David has outsourced to India, Germany Taiwan, Czechoslovakia and Colombia.
Alejandro Vásquez is the Director of International Business at PSL. He was born in Colombia, graduated from Yale University, and earned his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management. Before joining PSL, Alejandro was a technology consultant with McKinsey and Company. For 25 years, PSL has developed critical software applications for clients that range from the Panama Canal and the largest banks in Latin America, to hundreds of small and medium businesses across different industry verticals. PSL was the first company in Latin America to be assessed at level 5 of the Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model.
