Steve Mezak, Founder and CEO
Accelerance CEO Steve Mezak has extensive experience integrating in-house and global outsourced software development teams, producing dramatic cost and time savings in every case.
He is a veteran of six startups, including Aspect Development (sold to i2 for $9 Billion) and Digital Market (sold to Agile Software for $75 Million). Steve has served in a variety of management and technical roles, including CTO and CEO. In addition, he has more than 25 years of software development experience, from writing software code to managing large software teams and budgets.
Steve attended UC Berkeley, the City University in London, and holds a BS Degree with High Distinction in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in Worcester, Massachusetts He continues to serve as an advisor to WPI’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Steve received the Goddard Award from WPI in 2008 for professional achievement.
An internationally acclaimed speaker and author, Steve’s most recent book Software without Borders: A Step-By-Step Guide to Outsourcing Your Software Development, was selected from over 3,000 entries to receive the Gold Independent Publisher Book Award in the Computer / Internet category. Andy Hilliard, President
Andy Hilliard is President of Accelerance, Inc. Prior to Accelerance, he was CEO, Oneworld Technology, Inc, a firm which provides operational and business development consulting services to offshore IT service firms. His experience includes being a Director, Co-Founder, and Chief Business Development Officer of IsThmus Inc., an offshore technology services provider based in Costa Rica. He specializes in global technology outsourcing, business process outsourcing, competitive positioning among offshore providers, and tradeoffs between global offshore outsourcing destinations.
Previously, he was a Division Manager at Cognizant Technology Solutions; Regional Manager at Siebel; Director of Latin America at YOUcentric; and Vice President at Bank of America. He attended the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, London Business School, University of Denver and Phillips Academy.

Scott Pollov, Chief Operations Officer
Scott Pollov is Chief Operations Officer for Accelerance, Inc. As a results oriented professional, Scott has more than fifteen years of experience in planning, developing, financing, marketing, and managing entrepreneurial ventures as a consultant, capital advisor, board member, and investor.
Throughout his career, he has focused on bringing together a strong business plan, with the most appropriate capital, connections, and resources to help companies catalyze growth and profitability. In 1997, Scott founded BizPlanIt, a management consulting firm that has provided business and strategic planning services to hundreds of growth oriented companies across the globe.
Scott holds a B.S. in Accounting and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona, and is an inductee in the University’s Berger Entrepreneurship Program Hall of Fame for his role in developing BizPlanIt.
Shelley Ryan, Director of Webinars
Shelley Ryan is a wizard in producing engaging online seminars and presentations for professional audiences. She combines her extensive knowledge of technology platforms with a deep understanding of presentation techniques to create compelling educational content. Shelley has produced hundreds of online programs, involving speakers with a wide range of presentation styles, covering many management subjects and distributed using numerous online formats. By making the right technology choices to reliably reach large audiences, and working collaboratively with speakers to enhance their delivery and impact, her events are highly regarded by live and on-demand audiences.
In addition to her responsibilities with Accelerance, Shelley is also the Founder and CEO of an online event production company with clients such as IEEE.org, Deluxe Corporation and Magic Dust Television.
Prior to becoming an independent online event producer, Shelley was with MarketingProfs for over five years overseeing the production and promotion of weekly online seminars featuring the biggest names in marketing. The result was more frequent broadcasts, increased participation, and higher ratings — 85% of the seminars last year earned four or five stars from the audience.
